David John D'addio

AGE: 55 •

David John D'Addio passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 29, 2017. He was 55.

David was born on July 13, 1961 in Newark, NJ, living in Irvington before moving to Union in 1968.

He was a graduate of Union High School class of 1979 where he was an All-State Football Player and was recruited by the University of Maryland. He played the position of Full-back, and was co-captain of the team in 1984. He was a 4th round draft pick by the Detroit Lions where he played for 3 years.

David was a Personal Trainer for over 20 years with many wonderful clients. He lived life to the fullest and was a man of great faith and sense of family.

He was predeceased by his mother Joan, his brother Joseph, and sister Lisa Marie. He leaves behind his loving dad Valentino and his companion Mary, his sister-in-law Alberta, his niece and Goddaughter, Alyssa and her husband Michael, his great nephew Joseph, his Aunt Annie, Uncle Jimmy and his wife Gloria, his aunt Joanne, and many wonderful cousins and amazing generous friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday June 1, 2017 at 12:30 PM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes, Butterfly Wishes C/O Homeside Hospice 67 Walnut Ave., Clark, NJ 07066, or a charity of choice.
