Ralph Martucci Obituary
Colts Neck - On Thursday, June 6, 2019, Ralph Martucci, devoted life partner, son, brother, and uncle passed away at the age of 87 in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Ralph was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 1, 1931, to Anthony and Lena (Viviano) Martucci. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 10, 2019, at The Parish of Saint Mary in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Ralph is entombed at the Holmdel Mausoleum.
Ralph served as an electrician in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After service to his country, Ralph owned and operated Lucy and Ralph's Beauty Salon in Plainfield, New Jersey, which was considered one of the largest shops of its' kind.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father and mother, Anthony and Lena (Viviano) Martucci, his sister and brother-in-law, Rose (Martucci) and George Volturo, and his two brothers, Anthony "Doc" Martucci and George Martucci. Ralph is survived by his life partner, Sophia Stoia, sister-in-law, Sandy (Katz) Martucci; wife of Doc Martucci and several nieces and nephews.
Ralph/Raff/Uncle Ralph will be remembered as a soft-spoken, gentle, man by all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; enjoying a meal especially Sunday Pasta, retelling old stories, and sharing in many laughs. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Ralph was a gentleman, kind and quiet. He was so close to his brother Doc, they were like twins. The brothers and sister were a very closely knit family and supported each other in every way.
Ralph and his Dad, Uncle Tony, would visit my mother-in-law and father-in-law, Yolanda and Carmine and her sister Emma every holiday to say hello and laugh about old times.
I'm sad to learn that Ralph is gone but his kindness and caring will always be remembered by us, his family. God Bless you Ralph
