Grover Shealy Obituary
AGE: 93 • Tinton Falls
Grover L. Shealy, 93, of Tinton Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Renaissance Gardens at Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. He was a Security Manager for General Motors in New York City, retiring in 1980 after 20 years of service. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlantic Highlands. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Gunner's Mate and retiring after 20 years of service. Mr. Shealy was a member of the Fleet Reserve Assoc. in Washington, DC and also of the American Legion Post #338 in Leonardo. Born in Columbia, SC, he resided in Atlantic Highlands, NJ before moving to Tinton Falls, NJ in 2000.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Carson Shealy, in in 2003; his parents, Claude & Lila Shealy, and brothers, Claude & Leonard Shealy. Surviving are two daughters, Debbra A. Rollo of Harrisburg, PA and Sandra L. Boyce of Newark, DE; sisters, Margaret Tedder of Gastonia NC, and Virginia Winfree of Shallotte, NC; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and special friends, John & Christa Alonso of Navesink, and Donna Kociela of Atlantic Highlands.
Military Funeral Services will be held at Brig. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ at the convenience of the family. Posten's Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, is in charge of arrangements.

I will miss my Papa G very much, but we all will have peace and comfort knowing that both he and Betty are now together with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. Grover and Betty were very much adored and loved by their daughter Debbie.
God bless you Debbie and thank you for being so loving and dedicated to your beloved parents always.
