Plainfield, NJ - Loving husband, wonderful father and devoted family man, Andrew A. Mayorga, 38, suddenly passed on Friday, June 22, 2018. Born in Plainfield to his mother Elsa and late father Rene Mayorga, Andrew was also a lifelong resident of Plainfield.

A diesel mechanic by trade, Andrew loved anything to do with automobiles. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 825 for the past eighteen years and was a mechanic with Tilcon and most recently, with Stavola in Bound Brook for the last eight years. He had an old soul and always dreamt of owning a classic car. He was an avid shoe collector, especially Jordans, but his true passion in life was his family.

On Sundays, his perfect day was having breakfast and going for a nature walk with his family.

Predeceased by his father Rene and brother Tony, Andrew leaves behind his wife Myrna and their four children: Jared, Isaiah, Janiah and Leilani. He will be missed dearly by his mother Elsa, brother Roger, godchildren: Isaac, Joel and Caden as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5-8pm. On Thursday, June 28, 2018, family and friends are invited to gather again for visitation in the funeral home from 5-8pm and are encouraged to wear blue or clothing representing Andrew's favorite sports teams: the NY Yankees and NY Giants.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday, June 29, 2018 from 8:30 am until 9:00 am. A 10:00 am Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary's RC Church in Plainfield and burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
