Gail A. Strunz Obituary
Gail A. Strunz

Phillipsburg - Gail A. Strunz, age 74 of Phillipsburg, NJ, died at home on Friday, January 11, 2019. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Muriel Elste.

Gail resided in Spotswood, NJ for 28 years before moving to North Brunswick for a time and then Phillipsburg 10 years ago.

She graduated from Snyder High School in Jersey City in 1962 and married the love of her life in 1964. For a long period of time, she ran a very successful Avon business.

Gail was artistic and loved arranging flowers, painting and gardening. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and cherished pets throughout the years. When her daughters were young, she served as a girl scout leader and as her grandsons were growing up, she took them to all their ice-skating lessons. She loved going down the shore and enjoyed many a summer day on the beaches of Avon and Ocean Grove.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph; her daughters, Sheri and Debbie Strunz; her two grandsons, Samuel and Christopher Strunz; her sister, Elaine Bolger and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pastor Randy Nelson of Phillipsburg Alliance Church will be conducting a funeral service on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. All family and friends are invited to attend.

A visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
