Toms River - Henrietta J. Sudziarski 88, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 7th, 2018

Born in Hamtramck, Michigan, she was raised in Harrison, NJ and lived there for most of her life before retiring to Toms River, NJ. She was a 1947 graduate if Harrison High School. Henrietta retired from NJ Bell in 1985 after 35 years, the first 16 years as an operator and the following years in both Newark and East Orange. She was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union 827.

Henrietta was known as Hank to her friends and was always extremely kind hearted and generous. She was an avid reader, who enjoyed many summers at the Jersey Shore sitting on the beach with a good mystery or romance novel. Before retiring she was a very active parishioner of Polish National Catholic Church of the Transfiguration Parish in Wallington, NJ where she was a member of the Young Women's Guild and the Polonia Choir. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren grow up and never missed a little league game or activity they participated in. Her beautiful smile and laughter will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Victor C. Sudziarski, her parents Stefania and Vincent Heleb, and her sister Violet Malinowski. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Vicki Lynn Doughtery and son in law Scott of Toms River and three adoring grandchildren, Brad, Ryan and Zachary as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, NJ. Graveside Service will take place on Thursday at 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. www.silvertonmemorial.com
