RALPH J. POLITO
AGE: 60
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
Ralph J. Polito, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 60 years old. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Highland Park most of his life, recently moving to live with his brother in Franklin Township. He worked as a landscape laborer for his brother's business, Crossroads Nursery in South Brunswick for several years. Previously, he was a postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office in New Brunswick for 10 years. He was a past member of the Knights of Columbus St. Paul's Council, Highland Park.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph, in 1988, and Dora Giacomo Polito, in 2006. Surviving are his brother, Joseph of Franklin Township; a niece, Lauren; and a nephew, Joseph.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009 from the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy to be celebrated at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Highland Park.
