Theresa Carol Burke

Brick - Theresa Carol Burke passed away January 24, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick after a long battle with cancer and heart disease, a battle which she had bravely fought for nearly 5 years.

She was born on July 24th 1951 in Point Pleasant, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Brick, NJ residing in her family's home on Mantoloking Rd. She is pre deceased by her beloved parents, Filomena and Franklin Irons.

She is survived by her adoring children, Jessica Burke, Patrick and Tyler Giesler and Renee Burke, her two brothers James and Raymond Irons, her nieces Melissa Demeraski and Tiffany Irons, and the light of her life, her grandson Franklin Burke. Theresa's passions in life were taking care of her family and her beloved animals. Theresa was a pediatric nurse for 25 years at Lakewood pediatrics. She was a selfless person with a heart of gold. "I love you more than every grain of sand on the beach, and every star in the sky".
