Linda (Stockdale) Warren

AGE: 67 • Pagosa Springs, CO (formerly of Ocean Grove and Point Pleasant, NJ)

On Sunday April 5th 2015, Linda Sue Warren passed away peacefully as a result of complications from Alzheimer's Disease. Linda was born in Newark NJ, June 1st 1947, raised much of her youth in Ocean Grove, NJ and live most of her adult life in Point Pleasant with her husband, Kenneth (Spanky) Warren and their two sons, Matthew and Gary Warren. After retirement from a long teaching career in the Brick Twp High School system she and Spanky enjoyed their retirement in their new home in Pagosa Springs Colorada. Linda is predeceased by her mother, Edith Reed Stockdale and her father William Barrington Stockdale, and her daughters Cynthia and Kimberly Warren. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, sons, Matthew and Gary, brothers, Kerry Duke, Daniel Reed Stockdale and grandchildren Faith, Elliot, Rheanna, and Gabriel, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was a graduate of Neptune High School, 1965 and Hood College, Fredrick, MD 1969. She loved to travel throughout Europe, particularly to Paris. She was active in St. James Episcopal Church, Bradley Beach, NJ, St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Point Pleasant, NJ and St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, Pagosa Springs, CO. Linda was pleased to be able to see her oldest son, Mat thew marry Jessica (Matt's wife's name full) this past August. And enjoy a gathering of immediate and extended family along with old and new friends at their home following the wedding. Linda was an extremely good hearted woman and her strength, kindness, and generosity touched many people through her teaching, church ministry, and her personal life and she will be remembered fondly by many.

There will be a memorial service at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church Pagosa Springs, CO on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 1PM and her ashes will be laid to rest at 10am Thursday April 16th at the church. A memorial service is planned for this fall in New Jersey for Linda's many friends there. Linda had requested that In lieu of flowers donations could be made to St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Pt. Pleasant, NJ, Hood College, Fredrick Maryland, Brick Memorial High School Faculty Scholarship program, Brick Twp, New Jersey
