Robert Lambides
North Brunswick - Robert Lambides died Monday, January 1, 2018, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 85.
Born in Limnos, Greece he immigrated to the United States in 1966 settling in North Brunswick for most of his life. He worked for Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick for 25 years retiring in 1994. He also owned several rental properties in the area.
Mr. Lambides was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway.
Surviving are his wife Myrisimi (Spanos) Lambides; his daughter Nicole Lambides of Spotswood; a sister Olga Condouris and her husband Bob of California; and two grandchildren - Constantina Afionis of North Brunswick and Evan Afionis of Spotswood.
Funeral services will be 11:45 AM Friday from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 12:30 PM funeral service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or online at www.cancer.org.
