John Chamberlain Obituary

After a courageous battle with COPD on Tuesday, June 8th John passed peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Loving husband to April for 37 years. Cherished dad to Bryan and Jennifer. Will be missed by sister-in-law, Linda (Ken) Proudfoot and their family. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary Chamberlain. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax). I met John during his North American Life days in my reinsurance role. He was always kind, thoughtful and professional. I recall his joint founding of RMA and the long term success of that organization. RMA was first in its class and reflected John's dedication to quality and long term relationships. I last communicated with John in 2018. It was a pleasure to know him. My condolences to his family.
