At P.R.H.C. with his family beside him, David Stanley Mitchell was the beloved husband of Helen Enid Mitchell (Philp). Proud father of Barbara Ingle (Peter), Charles Mitchell (Shelly), Bruce Mitchell (Catherine). Cherished "Pa" of Jim and Paul Ingle, Danielle Ford (Cameron), Jacob Mitchell (Mikaela), John and Haleigh Mitchell. Will be missed by in laws Gwen Care (late Roy), Eleanor Josephson (Gerry), Dianne Smith (Bill), Richard Philp (Connie) and several nieces and nephews. Past President and Founding member of The Peterborough Home Builders Association. Past President and Founding Member of the McLaughlin Buick Club of Canada. Diligent and Generous Community Volunteer and the recipient of the Lieut. Governor of Ontario 2008 Ontario Heritage Award for Lifetime Achievement.
