Entered into rest suddenly at her home on Sunday, March 7th, 2021. Marty, in her 77th year, was the beloved wife of the late Nick (2004). Much loved mother of Rhonda de Montfort (Steven) and Denise Griffin. Treasured Marni of Lee (Michelle) and Steven Jr. (Dawn) de Montfort and Cherished Grammy of Sherman, Raymond and Karin Griffin. Adored Great Grammy of Gage, Lila, Nicholas and Natalie. Marty is survived by her three older brother: Torbjorn, George, and Urban. Predeceased by her sister Margareta. She will be missed by extended family in Canada and Sweden, many friends and past clients from her hair dressing career. The family would like to thank Bob Johnson and OPP officer Nick Lockhart for their care and compassion. In keeping with Marty's wishes cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19, a private family interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Marty will now be reunited with her loving husband.
