FLIGHT, Pastor Everett Arthur Leader, mentor, servant, and friend. ""I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."" II Timothy 4:7-8. Pastor Everett passed away suddenly and peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre with family by his side on Friday, September 13, 2019 in his 71st year. A man of unshakable integrity, bold charisma, and approachability; his impact in this world will echo into eternity. Humble to a fault, his presence comforting in times of hurt. Beloved husband of 48 years to Philomena (nee Collier). Trusted and devoted father of Nathan (Barbara), Kirk (Tessa), and Shane (Andrea). Cherished Grandfather of Jordan, Hunter, Olivia, Diego, Alejandro, Siena, and Isla, and predeceased by his grandson Ethan. Dear brother of Bramwell (Margaret, predeceased), the late Frederick (Audrey), Alonzo (Bertha), Dorothy Philpott (the late Harry), Alvina Rideout (Andrew), Henry (Wilma), the late Olive, and the late Melvin. Brother-in-law of William Collier (Rosabell), Monica Willcott (Clayton), the late Christopher Collier, Mary Willcott (David), Agatha Forbes (Glen), the late Joachim Collier, Garfield Collier, and the late Regina Collier. Son of the late Donald Flight and Anetta Stuckless. Visitation at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road on Thursday, September 19th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 20th at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1421 Lansdowne Street West from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service in Calvary Pentecostal Church at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. Interment Highland Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In light of his life-long personal commitment to the great cause of international missions and the less fortunate; the family asks that donations (in lieu of flowers) be made to the PAOC Timothy Fund.
