SWINTON, Constance Alexa RN, MPH, MDIV, CM. Peacefully, at 96, at Hospice Peterborough on Monday, December 23, 2019. Dear daughter of the late William Frederick Hunter and Catherine Constance Swinton, survived by sister Audrey, predeceased by siblings Robert, Catherine, Alexa, Liulf, John, Hugh, Phyllis, Alan, Shirley, and Lorna, and honoured by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews for the influence she has had on their lives. She was a pillar to her family, a steadfast friend, a compassionate member of her community, a tireless advocate for social justice, and an accomplished professional in national and international public health. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 99 Brock Street, Peterborough on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in her name may be made to the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund or Hospice Peterborough.
