I was thinking just yesterday that it was close to one year of Betty Passing. As cousins we celebrated many birthdays together. My love and prayers to Clyde and family.

The most precious Bumpus cousin we ever had.....our family Princess, received her reward yesterday. My sister, Judy, Helen and I are the last of a big list of cousins. Remember when Princess Di was married? It was nothing compared to the wedding we saw in Plainview, TX when I was 5 yrs old and Clyde Lee and Betty married. My sister, Judy can tell you along with me, it was a wedding of royalty, and I can still see it to this day, even down to cutting the cake. We always missed not getting to see her very often. Betty remained that beautiful, dignified lady all of her life. She glowed with the dignity and love of the Lord as she walked next to her husband, as a ministers wife, and carried her own mission to share God’s word in many Ladies ministries. Not many people, and certainly not me, will end up with such a beautiful legacy. I know she’s having a great reunion in Heaven. No doubt, she’s likely the leader. Bumpus women do that. She was loved greatly by her cousins.
