Edna Richardson Eversole

1938 - 2021

Edna Richardson Eversole, 83, of Plainview passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Memphis, Texas with Jeff Smith, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Estelline officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

A visitation will be held 5:00- 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Kornerstone.

Edna was born on March 26, 1938 in Pampa, Texas to Charley and Nan May. She grew up in Memphis and attended school there. She married Roy Holman Richardson on September 29, 1956, he passed away on March 7, 1990. She later married Donald Eversole on December 20, 2003. She worked many years for First National Bank before it became Memphis Bank and Trust. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Memphis. She loved flowers, gardening and sewing. She worked outside of the home but she was a homemaker in every way, including being an excellent cook and baker.

She is survived by her husband, Don Eversole of Plainview; her sons, Mike Richardson and wife Dana of Memphis, Chris Richardson and wife Desiree of Plainview; her step children, Jamie Eversole and wife Amy of Cortez, CO, Jean Eversole of Richmond, VA, Janet Brown and husband Bill of College Station, Judith Eversole of Oklahoma City, OK, Julie Barnes and husband Brian of Nashville, TN; her brother, Roy Lee May and wife Sue of Mt. Vernon, IN; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
