Jewell Campbell Obituary
Shallotte, NC
died Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Autumn Care of Shallotte. Born in Deering, MO, on June 22, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Betty Sparks. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Campbell, a son, Bobby Wayne Young, two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are two sons, James L. "Jim" Campbell and wife Barbara of N. Myrtle beach, SC, Billy Ray Campbell and wife "Dianne" of Fuquay Varina, NC; a daughter, Paula Campbell of Shallotte; a brother, Jackie Ray Sparks and wife Jearlene of Cardwell, MO; a sister, Willie Spaeth of N. Little Rock, AR; six grandchildren, Chris Campbell, Robin-Ann Gutierrez, Billy Ray Campbell, Rev. Joshua Campbell, Phillip Campbell, Meghan Hombel and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens, Shallotte.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the First Tee of Brunswick County, POB 1820, Shallotte, NC 28459 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Private online condolences may be sent to the family at www.brunswickfuneralservice.com.
