Blandena "Blannie" Marsh passed away on 23 October 2020 after suffering a massive stroke. Blannie was a 30-year resident of Jacksonville, FL. After retiring from Maxwell House she moved to Crestview, FL to be near family. Blannie was born in Okaloosa County, FL on 14 April 1928 to John Jesse Barrow, Jr. and Bertha Alma King Barrow. Blannie grew to have a beautiful soprano voice which she exercised regularly singing solos at church. Blannie was also known for her cakes and pies and her sewing skills. Blannie was married to Rev. Theodore F. Marsh, who died 13 October 1989. She is preceded in death by her parents and her seven siblings, Lucile McVicker, Roberta Ballard, Marie Barrow, Wylene Barnes, Glen Barrow, Carolyne Lawhon Simpson, and Joann Helms McMahon. She is survived by her daughter Sharon D. Marsh.
Services and burial will be at Yellow River Baptist Church in northern Okaloosa County at 10AM on 31 October 2020 with Josh Turberville officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Sign the Guestbook @ evansfuneralhomeal.com.
