Still missing you Dad - Love you! Vicki

Miss you Dad.

Danny, Vicky and Erin,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. Our parents had lots of good times together. I always remember your Dad with a smile on his face. I hope they are all continuing those good times

Charlie's life was a blessing to all of us that knew him as a friend, co-worker, church member and/or golfer. I never heard him say a negative statement about anyone. He was an excellent engineer and "knew his stuff". He loved playing golf but never worried much about his score nor recalling the number of strokes between the tee & the hole. We all will miss him.

Danny, Vicky and Erin - So sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I always think of him with a smile on his face or laughing and showing slides of his travels. He was the epitome of a gentleman and I remember him fondly. What an interesting life - well done, Charlie!

My Condolences to the family. Charlie and I were neighbors for 36 years and attended the same church. I always looked forward to his beautiful singing of "HIS eye is on the sparrow". It was not unusual to find Charlie crouched down in his garden, lighting fireworks for the 4th of July. We sat on our front porch every year to watch his sneaky light show. Every summer, Charlie would blow on a blade of grass between his thumbs to make that yearly shrieking sound. When my boys...

My sincere condolences to all the family. I got to know Charlie as a fist-grader, playing Matchbox cars and coloring at Vicky's house MANY years ago. Charlie always was so kind and funny--I think I got some of my own humor from him! I was happy to reconnect with him as I began bringing his Meals on Wheels--just as kind and funny as ever! I'll miss him, but know he's now in heaven, cracking up the saints. God bless all the family, and may you know the Lord's comfort at this time and always.

We didn’t know Charlie for very long but we always enjoyed him and his smile as we passed in the halls at Elcor. He had a great voice and we always enjoyed his sing a longs. We are sure he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Sincerely, Bernie and Chris (Nellie’s daughters)
