Your surprise phone call on New Years morning was the best thing that's happened to me in so many years! I am so glad that we talked and that we had hopes of reuniting the family.
We realize now that, sometimes the Lord has other plans for us, but we also know that He always has a reason. I will understand when we all gather before Him someday.
