Mamie Bowden McCall passed away December 29, 2018. She was born October 29, 1943 in Elba to Millard Bowden and Ruthie Boswell Bowden. Mamie loved Alabama football and it's rich traditions and enjoyed sharing that love with family and friends. Her biggest legacy however, was the love she had for her family. Known to them as Mamie, Mom and "Maw Maw" she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by husband, Bobby McCall; granddaughter, Rebecca Kirksey; father, Millard Bowden; mother, Ruthie Boswell; sister, Shirley Berry; her beloved dog, Chipper.


 


She is survived by son, Kenneth Hattaway and wife Brenda of Andalusia, daughters, Roxanne Stinson of Opp, Sandra Talbot and husband Wayne of Paxton, brother, Douglas Bowden and wife Linda, sister, Mary Nelson, grandchildren Robyn Howard, Jeremy Hattaway (Stephine), Brian Jinright, Blake Stinson (Kayla), Brad Stinson (Rena), Breeann Gilmore (Jamie), Sara Munda, Mary Talbot, Tyler Talbot (Rebecca), Clint Berry and Chase Berry (Tabitha), numerous great and great great grandchildren.


 


Funeral services for Mamie McCall will be 2PM Monday December 31, 2018 at Evans funeral Home with Tommy Dubose officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the New Harmony Cemetery.
