Mr. Ray “Bay Bay” Box entered into this life on June 28, 1942 in Prescott, Arkansas to Van Box and Lee Florence (Gulley) Box. He departed this life on September 22, 2019 at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott, Arkansas.



Mr. Box attended McRae School at Prescott. He was employed at Wells Hamby Farm raising strawberries and cattle. He then worked at Potlatch for 13 years as a steam operator and at Firestone until retirement (35 years). He never missed a day at Firestone.
He was united in holy wedlock to Kattie Bozman on December 1, 1964. To this union, two children were born, Ronald and Debra. One daughter was added to the family, Danielle.



He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and his daughter, Debra.
Mr. Box leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Kattie Box, two children, Ronald (Pam) Box and Danielle (Andrew) Loe; three grandchildren, Lekecia Box, Megan (John) Horton, and Jalan (Marqueeta) Box; nine great- grandchildren; three special “grandchildren”, Daisha Collier, DeVonne Collier, and Ron’ Darius Cone; sisters-in- law, Bobbie Foreman and Margaret Meeks; brother- in- law, James Bozeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Mr. Box’s Home Going celebration service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Munn’s Chapel First Baptist Church, in Prescott. His earthly body will be laid to rest at Deann Cemetery in Prescott. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, at Brandon’s Mortuary in Hope, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. I had the privilege to work with such a great coworker and friend that shown you respect mind his on business I gave him respect in return . I would go by and see him when I visit my mom he's going to be missed continue to hold your head up sweet family praying for strength in this difficult time .
