Having grown up in the same neighborhood as the Farinas, Rich and Winnie were one of many sets of parents we kids of the neighborhood had and could go to for anything. We had quite the gang of friends and were constantly at each others' houses. Our households gathered together for holiday picnics and parties and for all manner of celebrations.
