Aaron Franklin Richards

I will always remember Aaron Richards as Bishop Richards as he was the bishop of my youth. I will always remember his humble demeanor and his kindness to me and my family. He used to often say from the pulpit in his deep, emphatic voice. "There is only one perfect man and he died a long time ago." My thoughts and prayers go out to his dear family whom I have also loved and admired.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I have so many wonderful memories of late night card games, family get-togethers, even milking cows. These are some of my most treasured memories of growing up in Farmington. Please know that all of us are thinking of you at this time. All the Rencher family

When I moved to Farmington in 1964, Aaron was my Priest Quorum advisor, what a great honor to have the privilige of learning in my youth from your great father. He has always been an inspiration and a person I could look to for guidance and counsel. In my book, a real hero, a man of integrity and a man of God.

I remember Bishop Aaron Richards being the kindest, most humble and non-judgmental person that I know, and that only a few can match. My father was one of those challenges while he was living with us, but Aaron could love and care about him the same as anyone else. While my father was living with us in our home in Farmington, Aaron went into Salt Lake and spent two days at the church offices searching and locating my father's church records. He came back with his blessing certificate....

Kay Lynn and I have very fond memories of Aaron, he was bishop when we were a young family and really gave us some great advise that we cherish today. In later years Aaron was a great friend of my father and mother and was very thoughtful toward them. For the past two years I have served on the Benchland Water District Board. Aaron had great insight into the water problems and water needs of the Farmington, Kaysville, and Fruit Heights area. Because of work, Kay Lynn and I will be out of...
