Aaron L. Wilson

July 1, 1961 – September 18, 2020

Aaron L. Wilson was born on July 1, 1961 in Richmond, VA to James W. (who precedes him in death) and Mary Jane Wilson.  Aaron was raised in Spotsylvania / Caroline, VA.  He attended and graduated from Caroline High School.

Aaron always had a passion for antique vehicles and loved the racetrack.  He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and spending time with family and friends.  Aaron’s  profession was detailing, which he put much pride in doing and enjoyed his work.  His favorite saying was “I’m Doing Me”.

Aaron was a loving and supportive father to his two daughters, Alicia Kay and Latesha Kay. He was also the proud grandfather of his granddaughter, Paris Kay.

Later in life, Aaron met and gave his heart to Onetha Diggs. They were married on May 21, 2016. They enjoyed vacationing together and hanging out with one another’s families. Aaron always referred to his wife as “My Baby”.

Aaron  leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Onetha Wilson; his mother, Mary Jane Wilson; two daughters, Alicia Kay and Latesha Kay; a granddaughter, Paris Kay; a sister, Dorothy Wilson;  three brothers, James L. Wilson, Edward Wilson (Josephine), Vernon Wilson (Debra); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at Third Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
