Cobbs Funeral Home - Pontiac Obituary

Adalphia  Lee Allen was born in Pontiac, Michigan to the late William Tyms, Sr., and Crinner Tyms,  Adalphia was reared in a God-fearing home, where her father was a Pastor of Johnson Memorial Church of Christ.  She accepted Christ in her life and was baptized at an early age.  She continued her relationship with Christ over the years.

Adalphia graduated from Pontiac High School and retired from the State Hospital as a Registered Nurse.   She was loved by her family and many friends, especially her twin sister "Fat".  Adalphia was known to help anyone that was in need, with her great love, selflessness and compassion for people.  Bit was known for speaking her mind regardless how it made one feel.  After telling you what she wanted you to know, she would kiss you on your forehead and walk away.  She enjoyed family gatherings and music,  her presence at any event was evident.

Adalphia made her transition on January 31, 2020 at Ascension Providence in Rochester, Michigan.

Adalphia was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Thelma Lee Terrell, Annie Lou Day, Deloria Robinson and brother; William Tyms, Jr.

Adalphia leaves to cherish her sister; Alphia Little, brother; Lynn Darnell Harris, with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
