Cobb Funeral Chapel - Moultrie Obituary

Adam Lloyd Cooper, 36, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 1, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Bishop Elton King, Rhonda Underwood, DeeTroy Clifton and Cornelia Carlton officiating.  Interment will be in Carlton Family Cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM on Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.


Casketbearers will be Jacob Cooper, Daniel Cooper, Eddie Gay, Tyler Croft, Hank Carlton, Aldo Lopez, Gene Cooper, Jonathan Cooper and Justin Cooper.


Born July 22, 1985, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Steve Cooper of Moultrie and Kathy Carlton Holton of Moultrie.  Mr. Cooper was a machinist at Kelly Manufacturing in Tifton and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.   He loved his family, his church family, reading and camping.  In his spare time, he enjoyed river rafting, paint ball, Dungeon and Dragons and messing with guns.


In addition to his parents, survivors include his son, Gavin Lloyd Cooper of Moultrie; brothers, Jacob Cooper and wife Kristin, Daniel Cooper both of Moultrie; maternal grandmother, Cornelia Carlton; stepfather, Sam Holton of Moultrie.
