Dear Jim and Lisa, after reading Adam´s obituary I feel he was so blessed to be so loved. He made a difference in others lives and has left that legacy behind. To have an impact on another person and help at times when others couldn´t or wouldn´t is so special. That´s why you could choose the words you said when you talked of his death, you knew the special qualities he had over and above his struggles with addiction, that´s your legacy to him. I didn't know him or your family. I thank you for sharing your grief and being honest. Many parents are afraid of getting "that call". I have a son with an addiction. Praying for you.

Bill and I are so very sorry for the loss of Adam. We never met Adam, but it sounds like he was a brilliant, caring and always willing to help anyone in need. We lost our son/stepson, Andrew, also 29, 10 years ago. Unfortunately, we understand your pain far too well.
