Not sure what to say?

I was privileged to know and enjoy Add for alas a brief time. I am diminished by his passing. However, he did leave us so much to enjoy and remember. His music and teaching will live with us and future generations. Add served as an example of dedication and caring. He will be very much missed. REST IN PEACE. Stan Friedman

Mr. G, it wasn't too long I was trying to find you on Facebook to get back in touch. It's been a few years since we traded emails about our kids and even longer since I last saw you - you still have my videotapes of the FSU Marching Chiefs! I'm so sad to hear about your passing. You were a fantastic percussion instructor who taught me so much about the technicality and musicality of banging on things with sticks. Aside from that you taught me much about life...how to be confident in my...

There are no words to express how a family feels when a loved one leaves us. May your memories comfort you. Cherish the memories that bring a smile to your heart. May God Bless

Mr. Gilbert, the Testai family is heart broken to know that you have left this earth, however, we know what a wonderful musician and teacher that you are; and you will have a gloriful place in heaven to play and teach other students as you had taught Gabrielle for so many years.

Addison, you brought so much happiness and fun to so many students and friends. You will be truly missed. You, and your family, will be in my thoughts and prayers. You will be missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for the memories and your friendship.

Im saddened and shocked at the loss of my fellow musician Addison Gilbert..A smile is what he always greeted me with! A wonderful player whose time was greatly appreciated and will be missed.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Add's passing. He was a fine musician and a fabulous guy. I loved working with him. He was always such a joy to be around. My heartfelt sympathy to all his family. This is truly a great tragedy and a huge loss to many people.

We remember Addie for his winning smile, his warm personality, and his love of music. He was our son, Scott's drum teacher & when Scott wanted his first drum set, we remember Addie watching the newspaper for a good second hand one. He even took Scott with him to make sure it was a good one and a good price. He inspired Scott to work hard as a bag boy at Publix when he was 16 so he could buy his own brand new drum set. What a special day that was for our son! He went on to audition & play...
