Adelyn Brewer, 80

Adelyn Brewer, 80, of Blackfoot, passed away, October 9, 2021 at Gem Village.

Adelyn was born January 11, 1941 in Moreland, Idaho to Albert Mead Belnap and Gladys Williams.

Adelyn grew up in Moreland and attended Moreland Elementary. She graduated from Snake River High School in 1959.

On April 26, 1963 she married William Wesley Brewer in Moreland, Idaho.

Adelyn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and devoted her life to her Savior. She served in the Relief Society and many other callings. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Adelyn enjoyed doing cross word puzzles. She was a loving wife and mother who will be missed by family and friends. She devoted her life to her family, friends, and LDS church.

Adelyn is survived by her loving husband, Wesley Brewer; children, Angalynn Bishop, Albert Brewer, Waconda (John) White; brother, Emery (Dorothy) Belnap; grandchildren, John II (Sara) White, Jessica (Warren) Parsons, Nicole (Terrell) Wartenbe, Riley Bishop, and Trista Bishop; and great grandchildren, John III, Emily, Chandler, and Dexter, who will always love and miss her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, James Wade Brewer, parents, Gladys and Albert Belnap; and siblings, Joseph Belnap and Marilyn Belnap.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Moreland LDS Church. Family will meet with friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Moreland Cemetery.
