Not sure what to say?

Dear Susan & Sarah,
I still find it so difficult to believe that Alan is gone. I am so, so sorry for you both. Alan & I started our businesses the same year. Since 1987 we talked on the phone several times a week usually about the latest happenings in the legal community, job orders we both worked on and general gossip. Our conversations were always pleasant and usually started with him saying "Hey Kid"and usually ended with a witty story. Well that all changed...

Susan and Sarah,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was looking forward to seeing Alan when I visited Buffalo again. He mentored me when we played together on the Queen City Chess Team. I will miss him.

Alan was a gift to the world. He gave so much of himself to his family, his friends and his community. We will be forever grateful for having counted Alan among our closest friends and for the wonderful husband and father he was to our dear Susan and Sarah who have our sympathy, comfort and love.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Susan,
I was very sorry to hear of Alan's passing. My heart goes out to you.
Pat

Susan and Family:

I was speaking with Jeanne Hellert today who informed me of Alan's death.

Andrea and I are so very sorry for your loss and can only hope that your family take comfort in knowing how highly we thought of him.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Fenster Family:

I met Alan through a simple cold call to him (that he graciously took) about 10 years ago. That conversation triggered frequent calls back and forth over the years often just to "check in" and mainly talk about family. He was a true professional and a great person who will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Dearest Susan, I was so shocked this morning to hear about Alan's passing. As I think of him today, I remember his enormous love for you and for Sarah. Proudly talking about Sarah's accomplishments, how special she is, how she is the light of your lives---this I remember most. My heart aches for her today and for you in your immeasurable loss. Please know that Ed and I join this loving circle of embrace around you both.
