Mary and Family, Try to hold on to all the good memories! I imagine Bob and Alan are looking down on us, and sharing a beer and some stories!

Dear Mary and family, I was saddened to hear of Alan's death. I will always remember Alan in our nursing school class as being a kind, compassionate man with a great sense of humor. He is now at peace from this debilitating disease. May you and your family find peace and may Alan rest in eternal peace. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Love, Maryellen Mahoney Surace

Alan was old friend, a fellow nursing student and an AirForce colleague. We spent some wonderful times together in San Antonio, Texas and my love of tennis began in 1972 when Alan called me one day to play tennis. I was surprised and agreed and it literally changed my life. It has been an important part of my life ever since and something I shall never forget about Alan. Thank you, friend, and I hope we get to play again. God bless you!

I am sorry for your loss. I´m unable to attend the funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jessica Frreman
