My sincere condolences to Alan Orr's family. I I met Alan in 6th grade at St.Francis Xavier in Grand Rapids. My baby brother had just died of leukemia. I was quickly baptized and plunked into the comparably, advanced grade school.I loved this school with Mercy Sisters. Coming from a school where I escaped arithmetic class to play (unmissed) outside on the playground into a class where everybody were already into fractions. Art and I enjoyed the special humor of Al and my years of working with him at Holy Family. He had a great wit and was always a good friend. Sally, our hearts go out to you. He always told us about choosing you for his wife way before you were even old enough to date. I am sorry we can't make the funeral as we are still in the sunny state. Our prayers are for you and your lovely family. He will be sadly missed. Karen and Art Homrich

My forever friend, Sally, my heart goes out to you to lose your dear Al. God now has him wrapped in His arms, smiling and well. Please remember that the last memories are not always the best memories. Blessings to your entire family. Love you. Pat Armstrong Conlin

My heart breaks for all of you. I am truly blessed to have been given the chance to meet you all. And to care for your husband, father and grandpa. What an AMAZING man. I'm so thankful I was able to do private care for Al. The weekend I spent with him while you all were at the wedding was a blessing. The stories about his "beautiful Sally Jo" the love he had for his family.... I could go on and on. I'm so happy I was there on your "move in day" .Prayers Orr family. Heaven...
