I shared several classes one summer at UCO with Alan. Music for Elementary Teachers was one of them. I had already been out teaching Elementary Music for a semester, so it was a piece of cake for me. Alan was always a pleasant fun guy to be around. Unfortunately I did not have contact with him after that summer. Such a great guy. Sorry to see this. Condolences to his family.

Alan and Marie entered our lives almost almost 20 years ago when their wonderful and extraordinary son, Clint, met and married our daughter, Chesney, while both where attending Oklahoma State University. Through the years we have grown to respect, admire, and love the Soderstrom family. And have been extremely blessed by sharing 4 amazing grandchildren together Bella, Max, Hattie, and Zeke. With saddened and heavy hearts we offer our most sincere condolences and may you be blessed with many...

Coach was a great friend to my Mom and Dad. He was instrumental in helping Dad pioneer new bridge-building techniques when they were in their infancy. Coach was more than a coach to so many of us.
