Albert Andrew Austin, 73, of Totz, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August, 19, 2019, at the Hazard App. Reg. Hospital. Born December 28, 1945 in Central City, KY, he was an owner of various businesses, yet he was best known in the auto industry. Albert loved the Lord and believed in the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Jake Austin and Lillie Mae Vincent Austin; two brothers, Jimmy Austin and Raymond Austin; four sisters, Betty Vaught, Jeanette Austin, Eva McPherson and Mahalah Austin.

Albert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Helton Austin, Totz; five children, Albert Dewayne Austin and wife, Debbie, Baxter; Joanna Gibson and husband, Robert, Harlan; Charlie Austin and wife, Kelly, Totz; Dennis Schumaker and wife, Pam, Florida; and Michael Hudson, Illinois; four brothers, Tommy Austin and wife, Jean; Ed Austin and wife, Jamie; Mack Austin; and Tom Austin and wife, Donna, all of Central City, KY; and two sisters, Clara Gregory and husband, Teddy, Tennessee; and Ima Jean Griffin and husband, Butch, Georgia. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Harvest Worship Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the church with Pastor Bo Lee and Pastor Josh Doyle officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery with sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers.

I was lucky to have him for A step father he had A big heart and was A very kind loving man. He will be missed.

I'm sad for your lost I like Albert he was a really nice man and friend we have great memories of him and his family in Hiram for many years he help everyone he could and when I had an car reck he came to see if I was okay and call my husband for me .so many times he helped others also this was truely a great friend so sorry for the lost of your family member .see you again Albert in heaven one day soon.

Brenda and family, my heart goes out to you and your beautiful family. Albert was such a good man and was so blessed to have you for his loving wife .I pray God wraps his loving arms around you and gives you peace.
