The best boss I ever had. I left Devcon in 1980 to start my own packaging company. Three years later Devcon sold me a sister company, Chemical Development Corporation, it guaranteed my future. Al's influence on my life turned out to be profound. He will remain in my thoughts til the day I die.

I first knew of Mr. Creighton through his friendship and association with Mr F. Corning Kenly and my father Rollin Gallagher. He was our great neighbor. Later in the 1960s with my Aunt Quitsey Burnett and Mr. Loring they saved the Manchester-Essex Woods. Forever. What an enormous contribution.
To this day when we mix epoxies for fixes to all materials I think of my Dad's convenient and quick repairs to pipes and stoves in the 1950s using Plastic Steel.
