Not sure what to say?

One of the world's best actor has left the stage too soon. Mr. Finney was outstanding in every role he performed. He should have been recognized for his unique talents with many awards. He didn't care if he received such awards, but his admirers did. He won the hearts of his fans. JA

Our sincere condolences to the family. May the God of tender mercies and all comfort be with you all during this difficult time.

He will be missed. He was a very great actor.

Mr. Finney was a terrific actor who will forever be missed. All of his roles were outstanding examples of a man with many talents. May his family find some comfort in these loving messages. JA

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I read where he had not attended the Oscars when nominated, and he turned down being knighted.
But then something occurred to me... he was very private. The general public didn't seem to know what was going on in his personal life (at least not known in the United States.) He seemed like a regular person who just wanted to quietly go about his life and work. How very refreshing. God Bless his soul and peace to his family.
