Albert H. "Al" Miller Sr.
Vineland - Albert H. "Al" Miller Sr., 80 of Vineland, and formerly of Millville, died at his home on Friday unexpectedly. Born in New York, NY, Al has lived in the South Jersey area for over 60 years.
Albert was married to the love of his life "Gloria" for sixty years and was her caretaker for several years until her death in 2019. He was proud that he had served in the United States Army Reserve, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and receiving his Honorable Discharge in December 1982. Al was a member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Union, Local #542 out of Pennsylvania and was a life member of the N.R.A. He was well known on the "Flea Market" circuit, enjoyed spending time at Cowtown and always enjoyed traveling to heavy equipment conventions and buying equipment at auctions. During retirement, Albert enjoyed buying and fixing any kind of machinery or heavy equipment- no matter how large or impossible - with patience, perseverance and logical thought. He was a true resource to so many in his family, as well as his good friends Gary, Lou and John.
He is survived by: sons, Albert Miller Jr. (Julie) and Robert Miller (Dawn); grandchildren, Jordan, Jesse, Robert Jr. (Tiffany), Ryan, Bianca, Trevor, and James; great grandchildren, Brianna, Nathan, and Rylee; brother, Ernest P. Miller Jr.; sisters, Mary C. Robinson, Elva M. Morey and Tina Lloyd; and several nieces and nephews. Al was pre-deceased by: wife, Gloria G. Miller, and brother, Daniel Wilson.
