Not sure what to say?

Our deepest heart felt sympathy to the family of our amazing Special Olymic coach, Big Al. We loved him so much and he will be so missed by all but also so importantly 'HE LOVED US!' He showed it with such JOY every day at Special Olympics ( York County) and his enthusiastic heart made each day so much fun and exciting especially for us in the wheelchairs. He will be so GREATLY missed.

Al's Ship Has Sailed To Another Shore, But his Name and Face will Never Be Forgotten. I only Knew Al for a few years, but you instantly liked him. I had some wonderful times with Al At the Legion in VT. and just listing to him talk. Sheila and I had such a great time with Al last February. I loved listing to his story's, about his service in The US Air Force. I Loved talking him to Lunch and touring around York with this fine Gentleman. We will miss his smile, his laughter and his...

The first time I met Al was when he was in his clown suit playing donkey baseball for a police benefit. That was 59 years ago and Al continued to be the clown. He always wanted to make people smile and laugh. We spent many hours volunteering together for Special Olympics where he was dedicated to the athletes. His love for his fellow human beings was evident in the dedication he had to make the world a happier place for everyone. We are already missing our friend.
