Not sure what to say?

To the Sands family: So sorry for your loss, he and I formed a special bond while he was at the hospital. I loved listening to him recite his poem and talk about the good old days when Mod would make her famous donuts and how good they were. He and I spent many nights reminiscing. I'm sure he will be missed by all that knew him.

I have know all the family for years and to each of you Al and I send our condolences. I have remembered many incidents about all of you. May you remember all of yours of your Dad. He was a special person as well as your Mom and all of you . Yvonne and Al

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Thirty-eight years ago my mother brought me, at just 3 weeks old, to the Sands house to be babysat while she worked. That house became a second home, and Albert and Flora (Maime to me because I was too little to pronounce Flora) a constant presence in my life. In fact, people often thought I was a Sands because of the resemblance! I am so grateful for this relationship. Sending love and prayers to my Maime and the entire Sands family.
