Not sure what to say?

To Doris and the family - My memory of Al goes back to high school days at our church and times at YMCA Camp Storer. Al was a dear friend always of my sister, Peggy. What a cheerful and enjoyable guy! I am sorry that I will not be able to attend Al's services. My sympathies are extended to Al's family. - - Ed Weber

I was lucky enough to become a close friend of Al during our years together in Alpha Phi Omega at UT. We "hung out" together and were close buddies. He even taught me to play tennis which he was great at.
Many years later we were able to make contact via email. I was there with Al for the 50th reunion of SAE and we were "roomies" in a dorm at UT! Al was still the friendly, fun person from so many years back.
I send my sincerest condolences to all of Al's family.

Al had great wit, very subtle, a ready smile and a very compassionate, caring personality. Al made a huge impression on...
