Not sure what to say?

He was the best teacher I ever had. If not for him I wouldn't have passed 7th grade math at West Junior. He was the only teacher who knew where Pine Hill Pa was. That is where some of my family lived and still do. He was a gem. My condolences to you all.

7th grade math. I failed because I didn't go to him for help. I took his class again in 8th grade and eventually graduated high school with honors because I vowed never to fail anything again. Thanks for not passing me along to continue to fail. Thanks You.

To all Of Albert's family and loved one; my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have very fond memories of Mr. Travis from West Junior High School.

I was so sad when I saw this obituary today. I was sad for the loss you are feeling as a family. I was also sad that I never got to tell Mr. Travis what an amazing teacher he was.

He was patient, kind and caring. Everyone loved and respected him. My sister and I talked about him so much that he was well known in our household growing up. Sadly I never had another teacher who left such a positive impact after having him. I became a teacher and strive to make my students feel...

This man was a shining light in a sea of darkness at Benjamin Franklin School. I have thought of him many times over the years. My deepest condolences to his family
