Sally,
I am so very sorry to hear this news. Nick was so supportive of the endeavors of so many people. I was a lucky recipient of his support and encouragement on so many occasions. And boy, was he proud of all that you accomplished, Sally. I am thinking of you and send my deepest sympathy.
Love,
Karen

Sally, I am so very sorry. I will always be grateful to Nick for offering me an opportunity to join his outstanding team. It was a privilege to work with and learn from him, and an honor to represent this great Orchestra. He truly loved the Philharmonic and its extended family. I will miss him.

Dear Sally,
May you have the strength to overcome your loss. As you know, Nick was a big presence in my live both in and out of the orchestra. May you be blessed as well as your family during this time. Lovingly, Van

Nick was the first person affiliated with the American Symphony Orchestra League, and he began my journey that now nearly 30 years later finds me back at the League. A lion of the orchestra field and a lamb of a man, he will be greatly missed.
