My heart goes out to the Hilliard family...God has received a Beautiful Angel

Mother Hillard-Chapman was an inspiration. I will always remember her kindness bestowed on those she did not even know. I first met her when my daughter Malaika was being baptized in the late 1990s. We were using a locker right next to Mother Hillard-Chapman's granddaughter on the day of Baptismal (Easter Sunday in 1996, I believe) and we did not have a baptismal robe. To Bishop Hilliard, Pastor Phyllis, Sister Denise Hilliard and the entire Hilliard-Chapman family, I offer my sympathy and prayers on the passing of Mother Hilliard-Chapman. May God continue to bless the Hilliard-Chapman family.

I had the pleasure of seeing Mother Hilliard show her family love and them in return showed her the same. Mother now dances with angels in heaven and we shall see her again one sweet day.

It was such a JOY to know mother Alease Hilliard-Chapman in the township of Scotch Plains. Mother and I met up by chance at Park Ave. school, Scotch Plains, NJ at the 1st historic election of President Obama. It was such excitement in the air.
