2014 cousin reunion

Diana & Jon
Your mother was loved and thought of often. I remember the many times we visited the "farm" in our childhood and then the times I spent on the farm as a teenager, milking the cows and killing a chicken and plucking it for dinner. These were simple happy memories of our youth. Then reconnecting in later years - visiting in 2010 while camping in San Diego and "cousin reunion" in 2014.
All the long telephone conversations over the last few years...

To the family and friends of Aletha,

May the God who binds up the broken hearted and comforts all who mourn give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1.

Our deepest condolences. Aunt Aletha was the embodiment of kindness. Her gentle nature, creative spark and resilience will not be forgotten.

The memories of our childhood as cousins playing on the Cranston farm are treasures in my heart. Sharing lots of time & giggles in our teen years were the best. In our later adult years we were privileged to have time together for special visits while making more memories. I will miss our long phone visits and those uplifting conversations. You were a woman of great courage & spirit through all the experiences/challenges you had in your life. You are missed my dear cousin. Angie
