My daughter Jessica and I are so very sorry for your loss, he sounded like a nice kid who loved to do a lot in his life. Jessica went to the same school with him, it really broke her heart. Our hearts go out to you and your family and his dear friends. God bless you all.

We r all gonna miss him so much. This has reminded some people to live every day to the fullest. Love u bud.

Alex has been to my house a handful of times with the neighborhood boys. He always stood out to me as one of the most respectful kind boys around. I also knew him from working at his school. He was such a great big brother to Anthony. His beautiful bright blue eyes and smile shined, but his heart shined even brighter. Rest in peace sweet young man. You are an angel for sure. Love and prayers to the Barbie family!!

FEAR NOT, FOR YOUR SON WAS CHOSEN BY GOD FOR GREATER MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN THIS WORLDLY EARTH COULD HOLD FOR HIM,GOD AND ANGELS REJOICE AT HIS COMING,,BLESS YOU

Well he was great friend of mine and one of my first friends and we had a great bond and we both had the same hobbies as in fishing and scooting. when i had heard that he died i was so sad and almost could not make it through school and i had met Alex through his little brother Anthony Barbee. and I want to pray and hope that he is in a better place and all have love on his soul. and wish his family love and heart.

Sincerely, Timithy Gavin
