Not sure what to say?

Alex you were my first boyfriend even though we were only 5-6 years old.. You always ate whatever I gave you.. I haven't seen you in many years but I will always remember all the great times we had growing up on Grant Ave and our creamcheese and jelly sandwicked your Mom made us.. Your in a better place enjoy seeing all of Grant Ave friends up there.. You were a good friend.. Janet B

Al, under that hard exterior, you were a good friend. I have a lot of good memories. You were a good listener and a shoulder to cry on. I hope you and daddy (Pete) are arranging a big card game up there. You will be missed.

To the Valentine Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Al.
I had the pleasure and honor to know Al during the many years I worked with him at the HCSO.
He was truly a "Sweetheart"
A quiet Giant..
With all my heartfelt sympathy,
Julie Maraziti Nolan

Al;

Although they called you "Da Bear" your heart was bigger than your growl. I will deeply miss you and I will head your words of wisdom forever and I promise to take care of myself. Until we meet again my departed brother, May the Lord Our God grant you peace in your eternal rest.

Sad to hear of Al's illness and passing. We were fellow Marist alumni and served together for many years at the HCSO. Al was one of the few people about whom you never heard a bad word uttered. Rest in Peace Al.

Big Al,
You were a good friend. You always tried to be a tough guy but everyone knew that you were a very caring peson and had a heart of Gold. Al, I was sad to see you in the hospital but it was great being able to relive the past we shared. I love you Big Al and I will miss you.
