Not sure what to say?

Such A loss to his Family, Friends and most of all the Students he Coached over the Years. I knew Alex from Filming Moore Girls Soccer for many years in producing their Yearbook Video! I recall many great pep talks before and after each game at Miller Field with the Players he coached.
May He Rest In Peace

ALEX THANK YOU FOR THE COACHING YOU GAVE MY LATE DAUGHTER KATHLEEN MASINSKI ALL THE GREAT TIMES SHE HAD WITH YOU. PICKING HER UP AND DROPPING HER OFF AT HOME. SHE LOVED YOU SO MUCH AND THE RESPECT SHE HAD FOR YOU. SHE ONCE TOLD ME SHE WOULD OF STOPPED PLAYING SOCCER IF IT WAS NOT FOR YOU.

Alex,

A very special man in all aspects.

You are the true coach, role model and mentor.

You were dedicated to the game and to your
players without measure.

I am proud to have known you.

Rest in Peace Alex

Dear Richie,
My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family, on the passing of your Dad. Fond memories of you at Msgr. Farrell H. S.

My wife and sons knew Alex and Nancy and their children through the Staten Island soccer and Little League communities. To judge Alex, all you had to do was meet his family and see his devotion to them.

He worked a tough job, yet found time to coach and serve on the boards of soccer and baseball leagues. And there you saw a different devotion.....a devotion to the children of Staten Island.

I remember Alex as a man of strong emotions, strong opinions, and a strong will. And yet...

May eternal rest be granted unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual life shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

Oh Alex I know you are with your pal Ricky now.the. Ouncil is going to miss you both terribly.i promise to look in on Nancy as we are both in the same boat. You and Nancy were our good friends for many years.rip Alex love and miss you- Jen❤

My thoughts and prayers are with the Weir family, as they go about this terrible event. I went to school with Nancy, his wife, in Brooklyn. From what I have seen written about Alex, is that he was a very thoughtful, caring man. Who was involved in helping guide young lives. May the memories of happier times, give his family and friends strength to get through this loss. Few like Alex come through your life, when they do they leave wonderful memories. Hold them close, because they will help...

Alex, life will never be the same for your family. We will love and miss you forever.
