It’s two August months/ years later and just want to say that Al and Connie were awesome people. I am so sorry for your loss. He and Connie were at my wedding in 1995, and I was glad for that. He was a great guy, I will always remember his "German" look, his hearty laugh, his deep voice, and him being very kind and warm-hearted. He (and your Mom) were very sweet and loving people.
